Since I told you all that I love makeup I figured a makeup tutorial is in store. Contouring is very useful when your going to be photographed a lot. Weddings, dances, special occasions...not necessarily for everyday unless you want to have fun and look like you have AMAZING cheekbones!
Sorry my pictures are not very good. I don't have good lighting in my bathroom and only a basic camera but I think you will be able to get the idea
First moisturize and prime your face.
Then take a cream foundation or concealer much lighter then your skin tone and place it on your "high points" of your face.
Apply with a concealer brush or small foundation brush.
I use Real Techniques pointed foundation brush.
Center of your forehead, down center of your nose, on cheekbones, under your eye,
under your cheek hollow, on your cupids bow, and your chin.
I use Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer in light.
Then using same brush take a cream much darker then your skin and apply to your "low points"
In your cheek hollow, jaw line, sides of the nose, temple, and forehead.
I use Revlon Photo Ready concealer in Deep 006.
Then take your favorite cream foundation in your shade and a stippling or buffing brush and
Pat or stipple your foundation over everything.
I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in
creamy natural light 5 and a Real Techniques buffing brush. Go over your whole face in a patting motion until your whole face is covered and well blended. You wont look crazy! Just like you have awesome dimensions and great structure!
Don't forget to set everything with powder. My favorite is Elf High Definition Powder.
Then finish up your look with the rest of your makeup!
I told you my lighting is so bad! My face and chest look like different colors in this picture but in real life they are not.
A little better but not much. But you can see the angles a little better in this picture.
This is similar to how Kim Kardashian has her face makeup done.
I hope this helps you get those perfect pictures! Contouring is great because your face is not flat and looks much better with shadows, if you put just one color on it flattens it out.
Thank You and remember
Always Believe in Yourself!! You're worth it!!!
